Upcoming Games in 2023: Xbox Developer Direct Delivers

During a special Developer Direct live stream, Xbox and Bethesda Studios revealed new updates for Xbox gamers in 2023, including the release date for Minecraft Legends, Redfall.

The event also provided updates on Forza Motorsport and Elder Scrolls and much more. Additionally, a brand new game was also announced that is available to play right now.

Minecraft Legends Coming in April

Xbox announced the release date for Minecraft Legends, an action-strategy game set in the Minecraft universe, as April 18th. The gameplay trailer shows the game’s PVP mode, which takes place in procedurally-generated worlds, similar to the single-player campaign. It also revealed various tactics such as constructing bases, recruiting mobs, and utilizing redstone to defeat the opposing team. Forza Motorsport Gameplay

There is no release date yet announced for Forza Motorsport during the event. However, Turn 10 Studios provided a sneak peek of the upcoming Forza Motorsport gameplay. The game will feature 20 different racing locations, including new and classic tracks. They also showed off stunning visuals of the races, which will be run in 4K resolution and 60fps, with the addition of ray tracing technology. There will be over 500 cars, including over 100 new additions to the game.

RedFall Launches in May

Redfall, the cooperative vampire shooter game developed by Arkane and Bethesda, will be released on May 2nd. Gameplay footage was released that showed the game’s versatile level design, allowing players to approach combat in a variety of ways. Redfall will be available on Steam, Epic Games Store, the Microsoft Store, and Xbox Seris X/S and at launch, it will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.

Hi-Fi Rush – Surprise Launch

The Xbox Developer Direct also had a surprise for everyone and that was the launch of Hi-Fi Rush from Tango Gameworks. The game appears to be very entertaining and is currently available on Game Pass. Also, you can purchase the game on Steam Store and Epic

Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom

The Elder Scrolls Online, developed by ZeniMax Online Studios, will receive a new chapter named Necrom in June. This chapter will take players back to the unfamiliar lands of Morrowind, including its previously uncharted eastern regions. The update will also introduce a new playable class, the Arcanist

The new chapter release date for Steam is set for June 5th, while the versions for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One will be available on June 20, 2023
