Another Dead Island 2 Jaw-Dropping Trailer after LONG Break

Dead Island 2 is the sequel to the 2011 action roleplaying game, Dead Island and the 3rd game in the series. Developed by Dambuster Studios and published by Deep Silver. It’s set to release on 28th April 2023 on Windows, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PS4, and PS5. The events of this game are set after a few months of the original Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide but Dead Island the key difference is that it is set in Los Angeles which is now quarantined and crawling with zombies everywhere. The game has been delayed several times since its announcement in 2014.

The game has had a rocky development having had many different studios changed before Dambusters Studio took the project in 2019.

Fans of the series have been waiting for the game for over 8 years! Having been announced initially in 2014 when they showcased a demo of the early build of the game. But after a long wait, it is finally set to release soon and as a die-hard Survival horror and Zombie game fan, I can’t wait! The trailer has got me hyped; it looks like it was worth the wait. High quality next-gen graphical fidelity Featuring gruesome and gory visuals

The Trailer revealed that the game will have some of the greatest visual quality effects, textures, and models in recent gaming. I was amazed to see the quality of the various deformed zombie enemies shown, with detailed dynamic damage visible on the enemies and the environment.

A Whole Arsenal at Your Disposal

High-speed action keeps players on their toes but is still fun. Tons of weapons to hack and slash or shoot zombies in the most satisfactory ways possible. The weapon choices will have you slicing zombies into pieces, showering them in goo, smashing their heads in, burning and electrocuting them. Since the game is set in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles, killing zombies in the most uniquely satisfying ways does seem like a lot of fun, the gameplay sure made it look so amusing. Some of the weapons included are katanas, machetes, swords, hammers, guns, and many more that will provide hours of endless amusement killing zombies in every fashion.

Tons of different enemy types

Burning fire zombies, sewer zombies and many more means we won’t get bored looking at the same type of zombies all the time. The game has very detailed models and gory attack and damage animations meaning their blood and guts and all kinds of glorious disgusting visuals, so we won’t suggest this game for the light-hearted.

Alexa Voice Controls!

Voice Controls! Yes!! You read that right! So, this is very unexpected You can also utilize Amazon Alexa to control several game features. The preview gave gamers a sneak peek at some of the Alexa integration in Dead Island 2, which will let them do things like attract a zombie’s attention, equip their favored weapon automatically, or unleash their zombie powers. Here’s an interesting demonstration of that:

Special ability: Infected mode

Also revealed in the gameplay trailer is a mode in which when the player is bitten and infected by a zombie, the player is seen gaining special powers in their infected state, the trailer showed the infected player clawing through hordes of zombies easily and moving very speedily. This is such a cool mode and seems like it would make the game so much more interesting and fun to play all day.
