It doesn’t take much for fans to get excited over rumors, and this is happening once again due to some curious activity surrounding a couple of musicians/YouTubers that heavily cover Grand Theft Auto news.

The two people drawing a lot of attention to Grand Theft Auto 6 right now are a musician and YouTuber KRYPTO9095 and actor and YouTuber El Nitro 56. However, there are a lot of things to keep in mind before getting excited over what has been claimed so far.

Reports say that people connected to the creation of Grand Theft Auto 6 are now strongly hinting at a future announcement that might make some waves. Although nothing has been said officially.

After posting news of Grand Theft Auto 6 on Twitter, KRYPTO9095 made YouTube banner images suggesting that he is involved with the game. This got people guessing that KRYPTO9095 could be a part of GTA 6.

El Nitro 56, who could also be working on Grand Theft Auto 6, joined in with KRYPTO9095 by saying things to tease fans about the game and posting cryptic tweets. He said that the development team was getting close to figuring out if KRYPTO9095 was related to GTA 6 and that a trailer for the game was coming soon. El Nitro 56 also tweeted “one city, two different times” which could mean that Grand Theft Auto 6 might have two timelines in one city.

Some say El Nitro 56 is a GTA 6 actor or music producer, while others feel that a hoax is being conducted by both. The problem is that the evidence isn’t strong for either side.

Last month, Grand Theft Auto 6 was the subject of many rumors due to a supposed leak for the game. The images appeared online and were so similar to what people would expect from Rockstar that it seemed like they could be real, at least at first glance. However, it wasn’t long before people realized the fakes were quite easy to spot if you knew what you were looking for.

For example, some of the “leaked” screenshots were taken in an area released in a previous GTA Online update,

which makes it clear that someone simply stole some artwork for the game online and went to work on making the shots appear more convincing.

It wouldn’t be surprising if there was a similar prank happening now but with fake hints being dropped instead of images.
