Next Assassin’s Creed Set in Persia True or Just a Rumor?

The Assassin Creed series consists of 12 main games and each game has generated novelization, adapting, and adding to the story of their respective game.

The gameplay of these series falls in the historic action-adventure genre. The next Assassin’s Creed is said to be a free-to-play game called Infinity, which also includes many settings from the previous Assassin’s Creed games.

Many players choose this game to experience a new historic setting. A fan of Assassin Creed claims that the art director of Assassin’s Creed, Rafael Lacoste has told them that,

Assassin’s Creed Persia is inevitable, do not worry”

It means Ubisoft maybe has its sight set on Iran.

This fan shared the news on Twitter where he shared the picture of his trip to Almut Castle in Iran and sent the same image to Lacoste with a caption. The caption translated as:

Alamut Castle

I sent photos of my trip to Alamut to the art director of the AC series, Rafael Lacoste, and said, “So when is Iran Coming”, to which AC said, Persia is inevitable, so do not worry.”

If we see, Alamut Castle which lies in the South Caspian province of Qazvin in Iran, was the headquarters of the Persian Order of Assassins in real life.

We are still not confirmed about this news as there is no concrete proof that Assassin Creed set in Persia is on its way or not.

As we now know the actual origin of the Assassins order, I assume we might get an AC series set in Persia sooner or later.
