On February 23rd, 2022 Sony officially announced the PS5 Game Capture Feature so, that users can download and share those epic gaming moments.
PlayStation on their official Twitter account said that:
“We’re gradually rolling out the ability to share your PS5 game captures through the PS App in more regions! Americas are first up, with more countries next month,”.

The fans were really desperately waiting for this feature as it was about to come in January but due to some internal issues it was announced on 23rd February 2022
Before this feature taking screenshots and sharing it was really hectic as you had to go through a long step like you have to either upload the screenshots to their Twitter account, share them with a friend or use a USB thumb drive to download the captures.
With the help of Game capture your captures will auto-upload the PS App and will be available for 14 days after which they will be deleted.
And only video clips upto 3 minutes made on console will be uploaded.

Sony will bring the the feature in the following countries listed below:
- United States
- El Salvador
How to Access/Activate PS5 Game Captures on PS App?
To enable Game Captures on PS5 app via your console you need to follow the steps below:
- Download the official PS App on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Log in to your account and connect the app to your PS5 console.
- After linking it, head to the app.
- Go to Library Captures and select Enable.
- Now go to Settings > Captures and Broadcasts > Captures.
- And make sure Auto Upload is turned On.
And you will be able to access those screenshots an videoclips on your PS app and you can download them and share them easily.
